Birds and flowers are an inseparable pair in Persian art and literature; together, they stand as the metaphor of the loved and the beloved both earthly and divine.
This course is the continuation of “Birds and in Persian Art – Part I” and focuses on bringing drawings to life through traditional colouring and shading techniques. Over four sessions, participants will learn how to apply delicate layers of colour, create tonal variation, and enhance the expressive quality of their Gol-o-Morgh compositions.
This course only focuses on colouring and shading techniques designed for those whose already taken the part1 (drawing course) or those who are just concerned about the technique. The course is intended for participants who have a foundational understanding of Persian- style drawing, or for those looking to develop their technique in applying colour and delicate brush work.
The course will be running in 4 consecutive weeks with each session lasting 120 minutes. During the course, participants will be able to send their progress to our tutor and receive the instructions and feedback individually.
Please note that the course will be recorded and you will receive the access link within a few hours after the live session. If you wish to rely on the recorded class, you will get the full help and support from our tutor during the course.
